E FOI ASSIM… Que, certa feita, estava um general estadunidense com o General Zenóbio, planejando um ataque, e necessitavam de informes urgentes sobre determinada posição.

Foi organizada uma patrulha. O general americano, através do Capitão Walter Vernon, procurou certificar se cada um dos membros do grupo era imbuído de sua responsabilidade. Foi perguntando de um a um a sua missão na patrulha, até que chegou a um soldado atarracado, pernas tortas, feio, e indagou-lhe: qual sua função? – Eu sou o ISCA.

– O ISCA? Que quer dizer? O que é que você tem que fazer?

– É assim, meu general: quando a gente não tem certeza onde o tedesco esta, eu vou na frente, e se desconfio que esta por perto, eu pulo na frente deles, faço umas “visagens”, ai então atiram em mim; os companheiros vêem onde estão e atiram neles também.

O general ficou admiradíssimo com o sangue frio do nosso pracinha e principalmente com a forma quase displicente com que descrevia um ato de bravura daquele tipo; servis de isca para o inimigo.

Saiu a patrulha. O general estadunidense permaneceu no QG brasileiro até o retorno do grupo. Ao retornarem os patrulheiros, todos se puseram a estudar os informes trazidos, mas em determinado momento o general deu por falta do soldadinho que tanto o impressionara. Onde estava o ISCA? A resposta o deixou desolado. O ISCA não havia retornado. O general ficou muito penalizado e pediu ao Capitão Walter que anotasse no nome do rapaz para uma citação e continuaram a estudar os informes trazidos pelos patrulheiros.

Em dado momento, ouviu-se do lado de fora do P.C. um alarido, uma gritaria, uma discussão:

– Nada disso, quem vai levar este cabra da peste lá pra dentro sou eu. Eu trouxe ele inté aqui, não foi? Por que não posso levar ele inté lá? Vamo, anda, cabra da peste, pra que tu tem umas pernas tão cumpridas? Anda logo seu filho…

Os oficiais que se encontravam reunidos ficaram espantadíssimos ao verem entrar no recinto um enorme alemão, sargento da SS, com pavor estampado na cara, segurando frouxamente na mão esquerda, com o braço pendido um fuzil e atrás dele o atarracado ISCA com uma faca peixeira que a cada momento o cutucava nas costas. Essas “peixeiras”, caracteristicamente usadas pelos cangaceiros nordestinos, foram difundidas entre as tropas e tornou-se de grande utilidade, pois tanto o alemão como os próprios estadunidenses delas tinham verdadeiro pavor.

Esse soldado era da tropa de escol, a famosa SS, e portava orgulhoso a sua Cruz de Ferro, e foi ela que na realidade salvou a sua vida.

– Que negocio é este, soldado, como se atreve a entrar assim. Interrompendo nossa reunião e ainda por cima trazendo para o recinto um alemão armado! – esbravejou um coronel.

– Não, Coronel, o gringo não esta armado não! – Como não esta armado? E este fuzil que ele esta carregando?

– Ah! Bom, Coronel, este é meu fuzil que eu mandei ele carregar pois eu já estava cansado!

– Então você insiste em dizer que ele não esta armado?

– Ta não sinhô, o fuzil eu joguei fora. Mas num se assuste não, Coronel, ele não faz nada não, ele tem medo aqui da minha ‘lambedeira”

– Mas que negocio de trazer o prisioneiro até aqui, você não sabe que entregá-lo para a PM?

– Sei sim, meu Coronel, mas este aqui era muito “ispeciá”

– Especial por que? Como foi que você o pegou?

– O negocio foi assim: quando eu passei por um ataio, vi que este cabra estava bem escondidinho por trás de um moita pra da o bote em riba dos companheiros. Então eu vi logo que tinha mais tedesco pru perto. Sartei na frente deles, fiz as minhas visage pra chamar a atenção do gringo, me joguei no chão quando eles começaram a atirar, e fui chegando de mansinho por trás. A nossa turma passo pra vê mio os bijetivos. Eu fui devagarinho me arrastando e dando a vorta pra pegar ele pur trás pra não estragar a festa dus cumpanheiros. Quando alevantei a lambedeira pra fincar nele, foi que vi que num tava direito, que não podia.

– Não estava direito e podia por que? O que foi que você viu que salvou a vida deste alemão? – perguntaram quase em coro vários oficiais.

– Olha ali no peito dele, Coronel, ele é do nosso time! Apontava com um sorriso a Cruz de Ferro no peito do alemão. Olha Coronel, ele também é torcida do VASCO  como o senhor e eu!

O que noto na mídia esportiva é apenas o desejo de menosprezar tais desejos do clubes e prontamente criticar toda e qualquer iniciativa. Entretanto, a vinda de um jogador como esses que citei (pode ter outros, citem se lembrarem), traz muita visibilidade ao clube, inclusive, internacional. Tecnicamente esses jogadores são acima da média mesmo com idade avançada e o marketing nem se discute. Sempre levo em consideração, nesse tipo de discussão, como seria para um garoto da base, por exemplo, que chega para treinar entre os profissionais e teria a oportunidade de trabalhar com um "ídolo" de sua infância e da época de vídeo game. Outro fato são as vendas de camisas e ingressos para ver essas estrelas.

"Ah, esse cara seria só marketing e ganharia muito", não é bem uma verdade. E outra, vejo MUITOS jornalistas e torcedores apoiando um retorno do Adriano Imperador que há cinco anos não é jogador profissional, como uma esperança e com aquela falácia de sempre "se ele quiser, volta até para a seleção".

Não sou vascaíno, mas acho uma ideia sensacional a vinda do Eto'o.
