Tesla's SolarCity Bid Would Create One-Stop Shop For Clean Energy
Electric car maker Tesla Motors is offering to buy solar panel maker SolarCity for up to $2.8 billion. Tesla CEO Elon Musk is SolarCity's chairman and largest individual shareholder of both companies.
